SCARPOINT Begins Recording New Album
August 29, 2009Swedish metallers SCARPOINT have entered Fear and Loathing — the Stockholm studio owned by members of MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER — to begin recording their as-yet-untitled second album. Produced by Jocke Skog of CLAWFINGER and SCARPOINT, the CD is tentatively due in early 2010.

Guitarist Pablo Magallanes left SCARPOINT in May in order to commit 100% to his new musical project.
SCARPOINT's full-length debut, "The Silence We Deserve", was released in October 2007 via Blind Prophecy Records. The CD was recorded at the Dug-Out Productions with renowned producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES).
